Und hier kommt mein Beitrag für die Mittwochstempler. Leider kann man den schönen Nietzsche-Spruch kaum lesen, hab wohl das falsche Stempelkissen benutzt auf dem Glossy-Papier, das nutze ich so selten. Aber die meisten von Euch werden ihn wohl kennen…

“You need Chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star”  (Nietzsche) is stamped on glossy paper with Versafine (I think it was the wrong ink pad, I do not often use glossy paper) so you can hardly read it.

Dies ist das WUNDERSCHÖNE Thema bei den Mittwochstemplern in dieser Woche. Schaut mal, was ich an diesem  sonnigen Morgen in meinem Garten entdeckt habe…

This is the BEAUTIFUL Wednesday Stamper  challenge this week. Look what I found in my garden on this sunny morning…

Bei den Mittwochstemplern wurde in dieser Woche nach Sternen verlangt. Wieder hatte ich schnell eine Idee, doch die Umsetzung zog sich endlos hin und wieder einmal habe ich das Gefühl, das diese Karte irgendwie noch nicht fertig ist…

The Wednesday Stamper challenged us to the stars. I had an idea but the translation took a looong time and once more I have the impression that it isn’t finished yet…

Ich hatte mir am Dienstag abend zum 100sten Mal ”Fluch der Karibik” (einer der besten Filme aller Zeiten!!!) angeschaut und dachte so bei mir, ich müßte doch mal wieder eine Karte mit meinem Lieblingspiraten Jack Sparrow machen. Als ich dann das Thema “Kings” bei den Mittwochstemplern gelesen habe, mußte ich mir nur noch eine Verbindung zwischen beiden einfallen lassen und das war nicht sehr schwer, schaut mal:

I was watching “Pirates of the Caribbean” (one of the best movies ever) as I deciced to create another artwork with my favorite pirate Jack Sparrow. As I saw the theme “Kings” on “Wednesday Stampers” I just had to combine and this was not really hard…

Als ich dieses Thema las, kam mir als erstes das Paperbag-Motiv in den Sinn und sofort hatte ich die Idee zu meinem “Key to happiness” - Hintergrund. Aber dann wußte ich nicht, wie ich die Karte vollenden sollte, es war ja noch nicht einmal ein Schlüssel drauf! Ich habe hin und her überlegt und probiert doch nix gefiel mir. Ganz zufrieden bin ich immer noch nicht, aber ich wollte nicht schon wieder ein halb fertiges Werk in meine Kiste stopfen und so entstand dieses hier:

As I saw this theme I had just the idea to create a “Key to happiness” with the Paperbag motif and the word-stamped background. But I had no idea to finish, there was no key on it! I tried this an I tried that but nothing made me smile. I’m still not happy about it but I didn’t want another unfinished project…
